What to Say When You Hate to Sell

What to say... um, er, ugh.!!

What to say... When you don't know what to say, you may as well say goodbye. Goodbye to new contacts, sales, customers, your business.

Knowing what you're saying and how to say it can make a huge difference in your business. Test it for yourself and see. That's what our teleconference was about yesterday. Our audience heard Helen Graves talk about this topic for an hour yesterday and it was great.

Don't miss the teleconference next month. You can join our list for notifications. Send a blank email to our Aweber list.

You start out with the best of intentions.

We tell ourselves, "This is the year". It's a sad fact that by Valentine's Day, February 14th, more than 95% of people will have made no progress on the dreams they had at the beginning of the year.

Are you going to be part of the statistic? Face it; we're all human. We will, without a support system, take the path of least resistance. Not changing is easier than making a change. Not acting is easier than taking action.

While we have the best of intentions and have our goals written down, before we know it life gets in the way. All of a sudden it's the middle of the year and we're still right where we started.

Has this ever happened to you? I know it's happened to me. I meant well. I really did and then . . . my everyday responsibilities took over.

What made the difference for me? Once I had a support system, my life began to soar. Within a short time I was accomplishing more than in all the previous years. I had a mentor to keep me focused and a professional development coach and advisory board to hold me accountable.

Let me ask you a question — What if you were to totally take charge of your destiny? What if you were to follow a proven step-by-step process that would propel you beyond where, even you, thought possible? What if you had guides along the way and had a group of supportive people all working toward the same end.

Where will your business be on November 24th?

November 24.... a nondescript Monday near the end of November. The biz world is starting to take a breather for the holidays and there's the flurry of social obligations and holiday parties.

Where will your biz be then? What will your sales be? What will you be putting in your pocket?

Will your anxiety about your lack of progress be ever greater?

A lot of folks will have let this year slip by and nothing will have changed. They'll still be frustrated. They'll still be watching sales trickle in at an inadequate pace, they'll still feel like there's some big secret that the world's not telling them.

This Monday is gonna go by, regardless. Question is,where will your business be?

The American Dream: to be a successful business owner. To most its just that; a dream. From the outside looking in, it appears that anyone can have business ownership. Not true! It takes courage, faith, and understanding specific success principles.

In this month’s teleseminar, Deavra Daughtry allows you to be a student of her amazing experience as she reveals to all how she risked everything to build the empire that she now rules and employs over 500 people.

This learning session is included in the Womens Business Center Development Program. For those who are not participants in the WBC Program the cost is still only $10. I've set up a page where you can register and get the call information. Click that link, register, and I'll talk to you on Monday.

Stop Worrying About the Economy

It makes me sad to think that so many people are wanting a better life, but are doing nothing about it because of misfortunate judgments made by others that lead to this economic situation.

What is there for you to do? What can you do?

Those who don't believe in themselves will delete this invitation and that will be sad.

Those who accept will be shown the path to determine the blocks in your life and to discover what moves you forward.

You’re invited to join us at 5:30pm CST on October 27th, Monday, for the Women’s Business Assistance Forum teleconference call. Our special guest speaker, Pamela Grant, will share how to

  • Face life's challenges, learn the lessons they bring and move forward with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Determine your own path or mission in life.
  • Bring about the life you really want.

This is based on Pamela’s 22 years of experience helping you move forward in reaching the dreams and desires you have for your life.

The first thing you can do is take charge and take action. Who's with me?

Tips for getting things done

Of all the books and trainings on time management, I've probably read most of them. Still the best is hearing what others are doing that has proven to work for them. So I asked our Board of Advisors.

Their responses were diverse and fascinating and enlightening. Those on the teleconfernce last Monday heard real life accounts of how to get things done.

You can join the discussion by posting here your best tip for managing your time.

The result: amazing.

The philosophy is simple: Great change is made through small steps.

The science, irrefutable: small steps circumvent the brain's built-in resistance to new behavior.

The goal: change your life without fear, without failure.

The result: amazing.

Join us Monday, August 25th for the Womens Business Assistance Forum Teleconference to discuss with Rosemary Behrens the book One Small Step Can Change Your Life.

Change is frightening and when fear takes hold, it can prevent creativity, change, and success.

This one teleconference could change your business, your life.

What do entrepreneurs read?

The speaker at the WBAF teleconference this month began with what book she read over and over to conquer her fear of becoming an entrepreneur. Her presentation ended with her telling us how she published her own book.

In between, Carolyn Gray, revealed the ten facets of her entrepreneurial vision. Her audience found much to relate to in her story and much wisdom in her words.

A Million Dollar Business

Today's teleconference call was special, indeed. It was the first in our series, Rags to Riches. The speaker was George Anderson of Anderson & Anderson, the first global provider of anger management and the most widely used anger management model in the world. In an era when many in his field are being financially squeezed by managed-care paperwork and shrinking reimbursements, George Anderson is building an empire. George was generous with his business experience and knowledge and revealed his best advice about what worked for him.

Let's hear your comments about the call, post your comment below.

What !!? You missed it? Don't let that happen again. Send a blank email to wbaf@aweber.com to receive notices of upcoming events. And, of course, come back and visit our blog to stay in the loop.
